best places to work sc

Air Compressor Services has made the list for "Best Places to Work" in South Carolina.

ACS was one of 119 total winners in the state of South Carolina in an annual competition sponsored by SC Biz News and independent researcher Best Companies Group.

"We have some of the best talent, not just in our industry, but in any industry," said ACS founder Neal Shade. "And while we know we have a fantastic culture at ACS, the recognition this award brings is further validation that we're doing the right things."

To be considered for this award, companies must have met all of the following:

  • Must be in business for a minimum of one year
  • Be a for-profit, not-for-profit business, or government entity
  • Have a physical presence or storefront in the state of SC
  • Have a minimum of 15 full-time or part-time employees working in South Carolina

The application process involved two questionnaires: an employer survey and an employee questionnaire. For the employee questionnaire portion, employees anonymously submitted answers for a workplace survey directly to Best Companies Group.

A ceremony to recognize all 119 winners will be held on August 18, 2022 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in Columbia, South Carolina.
