Air Compressor Services (ACS) was named as the No. 8 Best Place to Work in South Carolina.
Air Compressor Services was named the number 8 "Best Place to Work in South Carolina" for medium-sized businesses (companies with between 50 and 249 employees). This is the eighteenth annual Best Places to Work in South Carolina program in partnership with Best Companies Group. This is also the third consecutive year ACS has placed in the top 10.

This award is on the heels of ACS coming in as Best Companies Group's #1 Place to Work in Manufacturing in America for 2024.
This survey-and-awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the state of South Carolina, benefiting the state's economy, workforce, and businesses. The list is made up of 108 total companies.
To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements: be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity be a publicly or privately held business have a facility in the state of South Carolina, have a minimum of 15 employees working in the state of South Carolina; and be in business a minimum of 1 year.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings.
The ranked companies were recognized at an in-person awards ceremony in August at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. The full rankings have been published here, on the Best Companies Group website.
