Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Coordinator

Greenville, SC (ACS Headquarters)

Position Summary

We are seeking a results-driven SEM Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As an SEM Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing PPC strategies to achieve company objectives and KPIs. You will conduct thorough keyword research, create compelling ad copy, and utilize advanced audience targeting techniques to optimize campaign performance across various platforms.

Year 1 Responsibilities Include:

  • Learn all about our business by doing departmental rotations in different departments including Warehouse, Sales, Revenue Operations, Purchasing, Field Sales, and Customer Support.
  • Learn how to build new campaigns (Search, Performance Max, Shopping) from the ground up.
  • Learn how to identify poorly performing keywords and search terms.
  • Learn how to spot data trends.
  • Learn how to report data.
  • Learn how the ACS website affects search engine marketing.
  • Learn how to set up site extensions and assets.
  • Work with ACS trainer to document processes.
  • Must enjoy manual clicking and data tedium.
  • Must be driven by the success or failure of numbers, data, and sales.

Year 2+ Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement pay per click (PPC) strategies to achieve client objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing search terms.
  • Create compelling ad copies that resonate with the target audience and drive engagement.
  • Utilize advanced audience targeting techniques to reach the most relevant users.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for optimization.
  • Manage PPC budgets effectively to maximize ROI and achieve client goals.
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to improve campaign performance and identify winning strategies.
  • Generate regular reports detailing campaign performance metrics and insights.
  • Communicate performance insights, recommendations, and strategic updates to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and platform updates to ensure the implementation of cutting-edge strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to view campaigns through a non-traditional lens. What works for others doesn’t necessarily work for ACS.
