Yes. This oil is a direct replacement for Atlas Copco Roto-Xtend Duty Fluid (also known as Roto-Extend or Ndurance). It’s designed for stationary rotary screw compressors operating in continuous or high-heat environments. If your compressor’s spec sheet calls for Roto-Xtend or Roto-Extend, this is the correct oil.

What type of compressors use this oil?

Roto-Extend is formulated for stationary rotary screw compressors. Portable compressors typically use Roto-Inject Fluid or ParOil M/S instead.

How long does this oil last?

Under normal plant conditions, Roto-Extend provides up to 8,000 hours of service life. It’s a 100% synthetic oil built to handle elevated temperatures, continuous duty, and longer intervals between changes.

Can I use this oil in portable compressors?

No. This oil is designed for stationary rotary screw models only. For portable compressors use Roto-Inject Fluid, ParOil M, ParOil S or ParOil Extra, depending on your environment and drain schedule.

How do I know when to change the oil?

Track your compressor’s run hours and check oil condition regularly. If the oil appears dark, sludgy, or thick, it’s time to change. Always follow the recommended 8,000-hour interval or shorten it in severe-duty environments.

Can I mix this oil with other types?
