ISO 68 Natural Gas Compressor Oils

ISO 68 natural gas compressor oils are used in select gas compression applications where the equipment or OEM recommendation calls for an ISO VG 68 lubricant. These oils may be used in certain natural gas, CNG, RNG, landfill gas, and industrial gas compressor systems depending on operating conditions and equipment design.

Viscosity grade is only one part of choosing the right compressor oil. Gas composition, compressor type, operating pressure, discharge temperature, oil exposure to the gas stream, and duty cycle should all be reviewed before selecting an ISO 68 oil for natural gas service.
