Air Compressor Services Makes the Inc. 5000 for the Fifth Consecutive Year
Air Compressor Services Ranks No. 2,575 on the 2026 Inc. 5000, Marking Fifth Consecutive Appearance
ACS has earned a place among America’s fastest-growing private companies five years in a row—and improved its national ranking every year
Air Compressor Services (ACS) today announced that it has been ranked No. 2,575 on the 2026 Inc. 5000, the annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
This marks the fifth consecutive year ACS has earned a place on the Inc. 5000. The company achieved 126% revenue growth from 2022 through 2025, more than doubling its revenue during the three-year period.
Even more notably, ACS has improved its national ranking every year it has appeared on the list:
- 2026: No. 2,575
- 2025: No. 2,645
- 2024: No. 2,673
- 2023: No. 3,077
- 2022: No. 3,718
In 2026, ACS also ranked No. 7 among Greenville-area companies, No. 31 in South Carolina and No. 72 among manufacturing companies nationwide.
The Inc. 5000 is one of the most prestigious rankings of the nation’s successful independent and entrepreneurial businesses. It recognizes companies that have achieved significant growth while creating jobs, driving innovation and contributing to the U.S. economy. Past honorees include companies such as Microsoft, Meta, Chobani, Oracle and Patagonia.
“Making the Inc. 5000 once is exciting. Earning a place five years in a row—and improving our ranking every single year—tells us we are building something durable,” said Neal Shade, founder and president of Air Compressor Services. “As the company gets bigger, continued growth gets harder. Our team has more than doubled revenue in three years while adding the people, inventory, technology and infrastructure needed to serve customers better. I’m proud of the growth, but I’m even prouder of how we’ve achieved it. We’ve stayed focused on earning trust, creating opportunity and becoming our customers’ number one vendor. This recognition belongs to our entire team, and we are nowhere close to finished.”
For ACS, five consecutive appearances represent more than a single period of rapid expansion. Each new Inc. 5000 qualification has required the company to generate significant additional growth from an increasingly larger revenue base while continuing to build the systems and infrastructure necessary to support that growth.
To meet increasing customer demand, ACS has added six warehouses during the past two years. The expanded footprint allows the company to stock more air compressor parts and lubricants, source difficult-to-find products and make more of what customers need available when they return.
Founded in Greenville, South Carolina in 2012, ACS provides compressed air parts, lubricants, equipment and service to customers throughout the United States and around the world. The company has continued to expand its team, operations and capabilities while investing heavily in customer experience, technology and its people.
This year’s Inc. 5000 recognizes companies across industries that have continued to grow through economic uncertainty, technological change and an increasingly competitive business environment. Collectively, the 2026 honorees added more than 627,000 jobs to the U.S. economy during the past three years.

“Every company on the Inc. 5000 has a story of perseverance, smart decision making, and a refusal to sit still,” said Mike Hofman, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Their growth reflects more than strong financial performance; it reflects creativity, resilience, and the customer focus required to build companies that make a lasting impact. We congratulate all honorees on this significant achievement.”
Inc. will celebrate the honorees at the 2026 Inc. 5000 Conference & Gala, taking place Oct. 14 through 16 in Dallas, Texas. The top 500 companies will also be featured in the fall issue of Inc. Magazine.
Inc. 5000 Methodology

About Air Compressor Services
Air Compressor Services. Would a company description really benefit us? What we do is quite literally in our name. It’s who we are. I suppose we could call ourselves “Air Compressor Oil” or “Air Compressor Parts.” But why limit ourselves to mere segments of what we sell? Sure, we could tell you that in addition to servicing air compressors we also sell parts and oil. That we are a 5-time running Inc. 5000 fastest growing company in America and 2024’s #1 Place to Work in Manufacturing, but that makes for a pretty boring boilerplate. Just know that we eat sleep and breathe compressors. We are trying to stock our warehouse full of parts you need. In fact, we have added 6 warehouses just in the past 2 years to keep up with our customer demand. If we don't have it we will source it. And then we’ll order a few more to have on hand next time you come back. We are on a mission to be our customers' #1 vendor. Let us know how we can get there.
