Creating Intentional Impact

How We’re Showing Up
Our partnership with The Meyer Center is active, ongoing, and deeply rooted in our mission to create intentional impact. Here’s how we’re involved:
- Sponsorship of Key Fundraisers
We’re proud to sponsor the Kids Classic Golf Tournament in the spring and the Polo Classic in the fall - two of the Center’s cornerstone events that help fund vital programs and services. - Hands-On Facility Projects
Our ACS project teams are currently working on-site at the Meyer Center, doing things like cleaning out large storage spaces and rebuilding them to better support staff and students. It’s part of our commitment to doing more than writing checks. We roll up our sleeves and help. - Living Our Values
Our work with The Meyer Center is one piece of a bigger picture. Whether it's through ACS Lift (our internal job assistance initiative) or employee-led volunteer efforts, we’re always looking for ways to live out our calling:
“Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Mark 12:31)
“Bear one another’s burdens.” (Galatians 6:2)
Supporting Mill Village Farms
Through Dirt, Produce, and Purpose
Some partnerships just make sense. At ACS, we believe real impact happens when good people roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. That’s why we proudly support Mill Village Farms, a branch of Mill Village Ministries that’s turning vacant lots into flourishing farms, and young people into confident, capable leaders.
Mill Village Farms isn’t just about growing zucchini. (Though, to be fair, they grow some solid zucchini.) It’s about building a stronger, healthier Greenville through access to fresh produce, youth employment, and food equity for all. Their vision is a Greenville where every neighborhood (no matter the ZIP code) has access to healthy food and the chance to flourish.
Our Role in the Fields
Every spring, ACS employees help prepare the garden area for the season ahead - pulling weeds, spreading mulch, clearing beds, and yes, sweating a bit along the way. When summer ends, we’re back at it again to help with fall cleanup through our annual Fall Farm Initiative. Whether we’re harvesting produce or hauling compost, it’s one of the most rewarding ways we connect with our community and with each other.
We also support Mill Village Farms as the presenting sponsor of their Culinary Concert, the organization’s signature fundraiser. It’s a vibrant night including a live auction, food, and mission all in support of programs that empower youth and provide equitable access to healthy food across Greenville.

More Than a Farm
Mill Village Farms is part of a larger ecosystem: Mill Village Ministries. This family of faith-based nonprofits includes Mill Village Farms, Village Engage, Village Launch, and Village Wrench, all working together to drive social justice, employment, and entrepreneurship across Greenville.
Through their youth programs, local students gain hands-on experience in agriculture, business, and life itself. They learn how to cook and manage money, prepare for college, build emotional intelligence, and even explore spiritual growth through Village Engage’s justice-driven ministry.
Why It Matters
We believe in creating intentional impact. When we partner with Mill Village Farms, we’re not just helping grow produce, we’re helping grow people. We’re proud to walk alongside an organization that’s nourishing bodies, minds, and futures… one fresh food box and one young leader at a time.
